Our Corgis grow up between an Eames chair and a boomerang coffee table, in a studio furnished room by room as if it were still 1957. The decor is vintage. The health testing is not.
A design studio, turned into a kennel.
Studio Boomerang was born in a 1957 bungalow we restored piece by piece: Eames chairs, a saucer lamp, a boomerang-shaped coffee table. Our first two Corgis, Eero and Ray, grew up in the middle of that decor — and became our founding breeding pair.
We never run more than two litters a year. It's the only way to handle every puppy daily, to watch them grow up in the living room instead of a kennel run, and to know exactly which family each one belongs with.

Screened before every litter
Hips (PennHIP), elbows, eyes and a DNA test for degenerative myelopathy on both parents. You receive the actual results, not a summary.
Socialized every day
Daily handling from day three, gradual exposure to noise, children, stairs, other dogs. A well-adjusted Corgi doesn't happen by accident.
Support for life
We stay reachable long after your puppy leaves — feeding, weight management, training. And if you ever can't keep your dog, they come back here. Always.
One Corgi only: the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
We don't diversify. The Pembroke is a miniature herding dog — sharp, intelligent and opinionated, just as capable of watching a flock as of running the living room. They bond deeply with their family, sometimes with one person in particular.
Our litters come in red & white, sable, tricolor and black-headed tricolor. All with Canadian Kennel Club papers when the line is eligible.
From your first question to the ride home.
You write to us
Tell us about your household: children, other pets, stairs, experience with the breed. We reply within one or two days, honestly — sometimes to tell you a Corgi wouldn't suit you.
You visit the studio
By appointment, even before a litter is born. You meet Eero and Ray, and see the decor the puppies grow up in. A breeder who won't let you visit is telling you something.
Reservation and matching
A $500 deposit confirms your place on the litter. Puppy–family matching happens around week six, based on observed temperament — never on the colour picked from a photo.
Going home at eight weeks
Your puppy leaves vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and examined by our veterinarian, with a health record and a blanket that smells like the litter.
A litter is expected this season.
Our puppies are almost always spoken for before they're born. If you're thinking about a Corgi this year, now is the right time to write — even if you aren't certain yet.
